LPS

Large Polyp Stony corals ( LPS ) have large flesh-like polyps on a stony skeleton. Easier to keep than SPS corals,
they still require good water quality and stable tank parameters. These corals tend to do better with less flow than is required to keep SPS corals and most do not require the intense lighting. Because many LPS corals have ‘sweeper’ tentacles and are able to sting and even kill neighboring corals, proper placement in the tank is advised.
